Ariel Brinson, LICSW, LADC

Founder of Brinson Therapy

We are all on a journey, and that journey can look very different from one person to another. Every individual’s story, experiences, and challenges are unique. I value building genuine connections with my clients and supporting them as they work toward meaningful change and personal growth. Sometimes therapy involves validation, support, and collaboration; other times it involves accountability and doing the difficult work necessary to move toward your goals. No matter where you are in the process, I will walk alongside you. Whether anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, or life stressors are interfering with your wellbeing, healing and growth are possible.

I am a seasoned therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. I have completed extensive training in EMDR, self-compassion, mindfulness, Havening Techniques, and DBT. I hold master’s degrees in social work and addiction studies and provide sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming care grounded in a social justice and trauma-informed framework, with particular focus on supporting populations at increased risk and vulnerability.

Through integrating somatic and neuroscience-informed therapies, I have witnessed powerful transformations in both mind and body, and I look forward to supporting you in your healing journey.
